Warren Joseph Scidmore Beloved Father age 93, of White Bear Lake Passed away on August 5, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife Stella , parents, Warren and Mabel (Hardy), sister Shirley of Watertown, SD, his son James of St. Michael, MN. Survived by his son Stephen of White Bear Lake: nieces and nephew. Warren was born in 1919 and raised in Clark SD and later moved to Pasadena CA. He served in Patton's 3rd army in WWII and was awarded the Bronze star. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and worked for the Fisheries division of the DNR eventually becoming the Director of Fisheries Research; retiring in 1982. He married his wife Stella in 1950 and moved to White Bear Lake in 1957. He loved gardening and reading mysteries. Visitation 4-8PM, Friday, August 9 at the JOHNSON-PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, 2130 2nd St, White Bear Lake and 1 hour prior to service at church. Funeral Service 3PM, Sunday, August 11 at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4000 Linden St., White Bear Lake. Private family interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Mahtomedi. Memorials Preferred to First Lutheran Church.
