Obituary

Stephen Edward Cobb, beloved husband, son, father and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 21st, 2014. Steve was well known for his witty sense of humor, his love of golf, and his uncanny ability to play the stock market. But he will be remembered for his kind heart, fabulous advice and sincere love for his family and friends. He will be missed by many, many people but we take courage in knowing he is in the loving arms of his Maker and our Savior, Jesus Christ and we take comfort in knowing we will see him again one day in the Kingdom of Heaven. Steve was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 22, 1948. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war era and was a graduate of New York University. He loved to travel and was fortunate to visit the Hawaiian Islands multiple times, Australia and Europe. Steve is survived by his Wife, Sheryl Cobb of Goodyear Arizona, mother Barbara Of Phoenix Arizona, Brothers Robert Cobb (Linda, Amanda and Jeffrey) of Hartford Connecticut, Bill Cobb , son Christopher Cobb (Tracy Ratio Cobb) of Chicago Illinois, daughters Stephanie Cobb of Chicago Illinois and Angela Bruentrup (Joe Bruentrup) and Grandchildren Hannah Bruentrup and William Bruentrup all of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Steve is preceded in death by his father Edward Leslie Cobb. Steve will be buried near family in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Mayo Clinic transplant house in Phoenix Arizona - http://www.aztransplanthouse.org/ecommerce/arizona-transplant-house-donation.cfm Or in support of Steve's daughter in law, Tracy Cobb who will run in a 5k for the Leukemia Research foundation in Steve's name.
