Survived by, husband of 58 years Kerm; children, Mark, Jill (Steven) Auger, Eric (Sylvia), Jodi (Garry) Church; grandchildren, Jaclyn, Ross, Isaac, Nelson, Autumn; siblings, Art, Doris,Glen, Paul and Jerry. Funeral Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM, South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church, 2480 South Shore Blvd, White Bear Lake, Visitation Wednesday March 16th, 4 to 8 PM at The Johnson Peterson Funeral Home 2130 2nd St. White Bear Lake (651-429-7661) and 1 hour before service at church. Memorials preferred.

Shirley prided herself on being the epitome of a homemaker. Her childhood years, spent growing up on a farm, made her an experienced gardener.

Hobbies she enjoyed daily included, sewing, knitting, cooking, and baking as she cared for others. The highlight of her day would be enjoying her loved ones after a home cooked meal with a board or card game.

As a member of South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church, she enjoyed teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir, Bible studies, and Ladies' Guild.

Her legacy will live on with daily family meals, card and board games, and traditional family holiday gatherings.
