Passed away comfortably and on his own terms on February 13, 2017. He was surrounded by his family and longtime best friends. Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Leona and sister, Peggy Ryan.

Dick proudly served his nation in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958 as a Sgt.

Member of Norske Torske Klubben.

Raised in WBL and graduated from WBHS.

Dick was a mechanical engineer, responsible for the design of many things/gadgets that we use today. Retired as a sales rep. from National Tool.

He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, sharing his passion for fishing, especially at the lake. He also enjoyed gardening and golf.

His family and friends will miss his sense of humor. He will be dearly remembered by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth (Lindbeck); sons, Dean (Amy Beyer), Dan, and Neil (Kristin); grandchildren, Lanette (Dustin) Klempke and Elliott West; great grandchildren, Keira and Dillan Klempke; siblings, Sally Colemeir, Jerry (Barb), Don (Linda); sister-in-law, Janet (Leo) LeTourneau; brother-in-law, Lin (Louann) Lindbeck; and many more loving relatives and friends.

Ruth and the boys want to say a special thank you to hospice nurse, Ken.

We know Dick will continue to watch over us with his angel wings made of lures.
