Norma Jean Wilson, nee Johnson, died during the night of 29 December 2020, following a courageous
battle against cancer. A beloved wife and mother of 45 years, she was 71 and is survived by her
husband Scott and daughters Brenda Swanson (Mark), Wendy and Jennifer; brother-in-law Craig
Wilson and his wife, Holly, nee Vernon, as well as, many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and
uncles.
Norma's life was one of service, public and private. She was a past president and life-long
member of the Fairfax County, Viginia PTA, a retiree from Knowlan's/Festival Foods, a member
of the White Bear Lake Lions Club and the Ladies of the Lake quilting circle. At Festival, she
was a deli food worker for over 20 years and was widely recognized and appreciated by
numerous customers and co-workers alike.
A private family funeral is deferred pending interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
