April 3rd 1933 to March 18th 2015 On Wednesday March 18th 2015 after 81 years and 348 days on this earth, Nancy went home to her heavenly family. She was born in Solway, Minnesota, grew up in Bemidji and raised her family in St Louis Park. Preceded by her husband Calvin, great granddaughter Alicia and Jesenia and sister Charlene. Survived by Daughters; Sherry & Tom Olson, Carol & Randy Maanum, Terry & Randy Meyer. Sons; Rick & Pam Welch and Randy Welch. Grandchildren: Shawn & Tia Olson, Tracy & Joel Bofferding, Kari & Peter Gustafson, Angela & Kaleb Smith, Jennifer Anderson and Brandon Welch. Great Grandchildren: Hannah Benson, Amari & Orlando Villareal, Kamron Maanum, Austin Bofferding,& Justin Olson. Sister Henrietta (Smerud) Gotaas. Brother Henry Smerud. Sister inlaw Ilene Christianson. Many special cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Nancy was a working mother of five and loved her many different occupations because she loved people. The crowning jewels of Nancy's life were her family and friends. Her home was a refuge to so many. She always had a listening ear a meal or a place to stay for someone in between on their journey of life. People naturally gravitated to her as she was a shining light of love to all those who knew her. She lives on in the hearts and lives of those she touched. Please be her legacy; Love One Another.
