Age 79 of St. Paul Husband, Dad, Paw Passed away December 2, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents Fred and Alice and his sister Jean. Will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Lois; his children Paula (Tom) Ovre, Alice (Don) Fasig, Rita (John) Heine and Robert; grandchildren Maren, Tara, Steven, Nona, Mary, Erica, Danielle, Erin and John; and 9 great-grandchdilren and many other family and friends. Michael graduated from Minnesota School for the Deaf at Faribault, was a member of the Bread of Life Lutheran Church for the Deaf in Mpls, a member of the Minnesota Deaf Senior Citizens, a member of AA and a former member of the Deaf Lions Club. Mike and Lois were high school sweethearts who met at the MN School for the Deaf. He loved sports, especially football and baseball. He would take long walks around the streets of St. Paul, the city he loved. Proud of being of Irish decent, he looked forward to the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. Mike was very proud of all his grandchildren, and the fact that all are college graduates. He worked for Unisys Lockheed Martin for 31 years. After retirement, he enjoyed the exercise class at West 7th Community Center. He loved to travel to visit friends and family. Memorial service information to follow.
