Matthew Isaiah Pettus

May 19, 1995 - September 12, 2021

St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Loving father, son, brother and friend, Matthew was always on the move and he questioned everything. Matthew was creative and gifted musically. Those who knew him well would tell you he knew every song written by Frank Sinatra and if you stuck around long enough he might even break into song.

Matthew is survived by his daughter Maelahni (1); mother Angela Sturm; brother Zachary Pettus; half brothers Mandell Pettus and George Pettus Jr.; grandparents; and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, George Pettus.

Funeral services for Matthew will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Johnson Peterson Funeral Home, located at 612 S. Smith Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55107. A gathering to celebrate his life will follow at the Taste of Rondo Bar & Grill - 976 Concordia Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55104.
