Lois J
Holgin
Dec 21, 1945 — Dec 14, 2025
Saint Paul West Side
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Jimenez Holgin, age 79, on December 14, 2025, with her children by her side at United Hospital in Saint Paul. Lois was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose unwavering love and commitment to her family were the cornerstones of her life.
Born in Winnebago, Minnesota, on December 21, 1945, Lois attended Albert Lea High School before moving to Saint Paul in 1964. In 1966, she married her beloved husband, with whom she shared 42 wonderful years. Lois had a passion for football, proudly supporting both the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys, and she found joy in spending time with her family, always putting their needs above her own.
As the youngest girl in a family of 13, Lois embodied strength, warmth, and resilience. Her legacy of love and devotion will be carried on by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will forever remember her as the heart of the family. Lois was also honored to be crowned Miss Albert Lea, a testament to her charm and grace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of years Paul Munoz Holgin; parents Rameldo and Laura Jimenez
She is survived by children Sheila (Prorector) Evans, Donna (Walter) Holgin, Rene (Tina) Holgin, Paul (Lidia) Holgin Jr., and Oliva Holgin; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren
