Lois J
Gydesen (Danner)
Jul 24, 1933 — Apr 22, 2022
Lois joined her Savior in heaven on April 22, 2022. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; Lois died suddenly at the age of 88.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Stella Danner; brother, Roger and husband, Bill Gydesen.
She leaves behind two sons: Paul (Suzanne), Eric (Suzie); four grandchildren: Nick (Shonda), Amy (Jeff), Annie, Will; and three great grandchildren: Benjamin, Hadley and Jordan, one sister: Donna Rahn; six brothers: Wayne, Keith, Marlin, Lyle, Doug, and Dale Danner.
Nothing was more important to Lois than the three Fs: Faith, Family, Friends. She always put all three above her own well-being. Right up until she was called home, Lois proclaimed the saving grace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The message comforted those around her. As the second oldest of nine siblings, she poured out her love to each of them. Lois worked as a bank teller at BankCherokee in the 50s and 60s. That is where she met her handsome and ambitious husband, Bill. As a full-time mom, she loved to cook and feed her family and friends. A favorite pastime was entertaining at their summer cabin on Balsam Lake and putting on a feast fit for a king. Lois enjoyed singing in Sweet Adeline's for many years. She and Bill travelled the world. Together, they shared a long happy life and loving memories.
