LaVonne passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Eagan Pointe Senior Living.  Born November 11, 1928 in Britton, South Dakota, she is survived by her loving three children, Cynthia (Kim) Jennison, Rebecca (D. Charles) Brown and Thomas (Amy) Stocking, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ronald Stocking, a sister-in-law, Rose Stocking and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Stocking, sister, Wyonne Johnson, several brothers- and sisters-in-law and two nieces.  She will be remembered for her friendliness, sense of humor and flirtiness and that her birthday was a national holiday.

Funeral mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
