The Best Dad Grandpa Died peacefully April 12, 2015. Preceded in death by wife of 60 years, Mary and brother, Miles Whitney. Survived by loving children Todd (Peg), Jay (Jayne), Jim (Risa), and Jeanie (Tom); 7 grandchildren Ryan (Lorelei), Paula (Grant), Andrew, John, Will (Sabrina),Ben, and Davis; 5 great-grandchildren; and faithful dog Molly. Memorial Service Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10AM at St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church. Memorials to Episcopal Church Home or St. John in the Wilderness. Ken was a graduate of Johnson H.S. and the U of M. He was proud of his service in the Army during WWII and he was a long time active member of St. John in the Wilderness Church. Ken was a kind and gentle man.
