Daughter, Sister Aunt Born June 24, 1955, in Thief River Falls, MN. Died on December 15, 2013, in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her father, Albert C. Ahlquist. Survived by her mother, Virginia J. Ahlquist, sisters Pamela (Joey) Newman of Santa Maria, CA, and Carla (John) Heldt of Beloit, WI, brothers David (Susan) Ahlquist of Rochester, MN, Calvin (Carol) Ahlquist of So. St. Paul, Dale (Laura) Ahlquist of Bloomington, and thirteen nieces and nephews. We are grateful for all the wonderful caregivers who, for over a half century, showed such tenderness and compassion to our Julie. She lived her life hidden from us under a heavy cloak of autism.
