Joel E. Bofferding, age 59, of West St. Paul, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Regions Hospital with his children by his side.

Joel was born on April 26, 1966, to William and Jean Bofferding at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Anthony Village High School in 1985.

Joel was a hardworking, loyal, and dedicated employee throughout his career, working for several metro-area companies, including his current employer, Trade Tools, Inc., where he had been for the past nine years. Outside of work, Joel had a deep appreciation for all things John Deere and took great pride in his love of tools.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jean Bofferding, and his brother, Jeffrey Bofferding.

He is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Blake) McClendon; his son, Austin Bofferding; his grandson, Malcolm McClendon; his brother, Michael (Nora) Bofferding; his sister-in-law, Rita Bofferding;  the mother of his son, Tracy Olson and many other family and loved ones.

Joel will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home in St Paul, MN. Family and friends are invited to join us as we honor Joel's life, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely.

Guests are encouraged to wear green, Trade Tools Inc. gear, John Deere apparel, or WWE merchandise in honor of Joel's legacy.
