61 Of White Bear Lake Passed away on Nov. 28 with family and friends by his side. He was born to the late Ralph and JoAnn Mehlhorn on Feb. 18, 1953 on St. Paul's Eastside. A graduate of the Johnson High School Class of 1971, Jerry married Tami Filkowski one hot July afternoon back in 86. They settled in WBL in 1995. Jer, "Mel", Dad or Grandpa, as he was known, will be remembered for his one-liners, his love for good times with family and friends, his love-hate relationship with the Vikes, his fondness for a cold brewski, concern that you had enough to eat or drink, and general warmheartedness. In addition to his loving wife Tami, Jerry is survived by his 4 brothers and 2 sisters, son Jeremy (Lori), daughter Sara Meyer (Jed), son Cody (Kelly), and 5 wonderful grandkids: Masen, Jacob, Amelia, Nicholas and Olivia. The family suggests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers and that you raise a glass to Jerry.
