Jeffrey James Crawford was born on April 17, 1956, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to parents Allen and Arlette Crawford. He was raised on the West Side, and in, West St. Paul, where he grew up surrounded by family, friends, and a strong sense of community. He graduated from Humboldt High School, where he proudly played on the football team and never passed up a chance to shoot hoops with friends.

Jeffrey was known for his quiet strength, sharp sense of humor, and big heart. He spent many years working for the State of Minnesota and later the U.S. Postal Service, before retiring early due to a traumatic injury. Though that chapter of his life came sooner than expected, it gave him more time to enjoy what truly mattered—being outdoors, going camping, riding his bike, and most of all, spending time with the people he loved.

He is survived by his sons; Kyle and Kalin, and his beloved grandchildren; Jazzalyen, Kyla, Aleaah, and Lauryn, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his brothers, Doug and Bruce of St. Paul; nephews Justin and Cullen; many cousins; his lifelong love Gwen Troy; and best friend, Randy Weldon.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Arlette, his brother, Miles, and sadly many others missed family members.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the stories his family & friends will continue to tell, and the love and advice he gave so freely.

"Jeffro / Fuzzy" will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
