Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Irene Laura Ustruck (nee Heidenreich), 88, of Pequot Lakes, MN and formerly of West St. Paul, MN passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She was born on May 18, 1926 to Henry and Theresia (Knodt) Heidenreich. Irene is preceded in death by her husband Jim of 50 years and her brother Curt Heidenreich. She is the mother of Greg (Kim), Gary, Tom, Sandy (Jim) Olsen, Judy (Kevin) Simeon. Grandmother of Jackie (Ed) Kellner, Danielle Ustruck, Derek Simeon, Samantha Simeon, Sara Simeon and Luke Simeon. Great Grandmother of Aiden Kellner and Olivia Kellner. Sister-in-Law of Elaine Heidenreich. Irene and Jim retired in Pequot Lakes where they enjoyed the time at their lake home with their beloved Golden Retrievers. Irene's green thumb created beautiful flowers throughout their lake property, which was enjoyed by all. She looked forward to people visiting the lake home, especially her grandchildren. The pleasure and enjoyment she received from watching her grandchildren spend their days in the lake and taking time to talk to her was priceless. She was a wonderful seamstress and knitter who enjoyed making whatever her grandchildren's wishes may have been. Her repertoire included, but not limited to, baptismal outfits, bedroom décor, children's clothing, American Girl doll clothes and even horse tail bags. Irene was a former member of Carmel Chapter 127 O.E.S. and active with her two daughters within Job's Daughters.
