orn May 27, 1927, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 18, 2018. A man full of life, he brought his family out of post war Europe to find a better life. He came to America, worked in photography with Agfa and later took a position with 3M Company, where he rose to an executive position. He traveled the world for 3M International Division and moved his family to live in Europe for many years. He returned to St. Paul in 1980. He retired happily in 1992 to pursue golf, travel and reading. He also enjoyed collaborating with other executives at SCORE.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen, his children Nick (Eileen), Sue (Joe), Tom, and Julie (Toby), 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, with one on the way.
He inspired his children to understand the gifts of classical music, different cultures, art, travel, eating and living well.
