Beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma

Age 91, of White Bear Lake, passed peacefully in her home on Saturday February 18th after a short battle with cancer and Alzheimer's complications.  Preceded in death by parents Frank and Leah Crabtree and brother Harold.

Beloved wife of 68+ years to William A Johnson.  Both Bill and Elaine grew up in St Paul.  Elaine was one of the founding members of the oldest women's group of Humboldt High School.

Dear mother of Mark (Dana), Montevideo, Craig (Lynn Strese), Blaine, Barry (Karin), Oakdale, Jeff (Sue Stang), East Bethel, and Todd (Jean Dominguez), Oakdale. 12 Grandchildren, 1 Great grandchild and one to arrive in May.

Elaine was a wonderful pianist and taught for many years.  The family enjoyed listening to her over the years, playing many of the great show tunes.

Funeral service will be held Saturday February 25, 2017 at 11:00 a,, St Stephen Lutheran Church, 1965  County Road E, White Bear Lake.  Visitation will be 1 hour before the service.  There will be a luncheon following the service.  Family internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Her sparkling blue eyes, warm smile, and keen sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
