Gary was born to Charles L. and Kathryn (neé Bystrom) Kaziukewicz on June 20, 1939 in Ashland, WI.  He had one brother Ronald, who preceded him in death.  Gary went to school at St. Agnes & DePada Height School and Northland College in Ashland.  After college, he went to Park Falls where he was a chemist at the paper mill.  Gary met his wife Betty and they were married October 21, 1967.  After a few years he took a job in St Paul as a chemist for pollution control with Waldorf Paper.  When he retired in April 2015 it became Rock Team.  After retirement they lived in Shoreview, MN.
