Floyd Leonard Ganske, 94, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Mankato, MN. Born on April 5, 1930, in Bismarck, ND, Floyd dedicated his early years serving in the United States Navy, and then many years working as a salesman; embodying the values of duty and commitment that defined his character.

Floyd's professional journey as a salesman was marked by his charismatic approach and genuine interest in the stories of those he met, traits that made him a beloved figure among colleagues and clients alike. His passion for cars, especially Cadillacs, was more than just a hobby; it was a way of connecting with people, sharing stories, and fostering relationships.

Floyd is survived by his sister, Cleora Schmidt (Brad), many nieces and nephews, Victoria Peters Lieberman and Justin Peters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia; father, Leonard; brother, Ken; and life partner, Emogene Peters.

Floyd's life will be celebrated at Johnson Peterson Funeral Home, 612 Smith Av S, St Paul, MN 55107, on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.

His legacy of kindness, enthusiasm for automobiles, and the deep bonds he formed will be fondly remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
