Edward Lavale
Duncan
Jun 4, 1957 — Oct 5, 2022
PORTRAIT OF LIFE
On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Edward LaVale Duncan, loving son, father and grandfather, passed away at age 65.
Edward LaVale Duncan otherwise known by "Nemo", "Dunk", "Duncan" or "Pop's". Born June 04, 1957 in Saint Paul, MN to Robert Lee Price and Edna Delores Duncan.
Duncan! The Man, The Myth, The Legend, will forever be remembered as just that. Duncan spent a lifetime being a man of great wisdom, strength, compassion, and generosity. In his possession a heart of gold. Sharing his love, selflessness, and kindness with many over the years. He taught us the value of unconditional love and how to be rich with love and not possessions. He taught us the power and worth of "your word" and to stand on it. "Whoooo....Shitdddd..... a man is nothing without his WORD", he would say!
Shitdddd......Duncan enjoyed long walks on the beach, watching the sunset, and the smell of summer rain! "Boom". In his spare time he enjoyed long naps, teleporting, midnight snacking and picking his toes! "Boom" ( if you didn't laugh you need a humor check) A sense of humor is something he did not lack. But seriously he truly enjoyed watching sci-fi. He always told us growing up that we were watching our future. He was on to something. And even had the opportunity to see some of it for himself. Ultimately, his favorite movie is Smoking Ivory- if you know, you know. "Boom". In addition, he had a passion for fashion and a history of creating his own designs. "Boom". He enjoyed music not only listening but singing. Even composing a set lyrics of his own. "I need some yummy for my tummy mommy, I'm hungry, I'm hungry!".
With that I give you his final words "Scooby-Dooby, Baby!"
Preceded in death by his father Robert L. Price, his daughters Shonna L. Cindrich, Megan S. Neely and Grandson Matèo M. Cindrich-Casillas
Duncan leaves to cherish his memory. His mother Edna D. Duncan, brother Oscar Lee Day Jr., 5 children Robert E. Cindrich Sr., Taniea R. Cindrich, StarShamia L Cindrich, Pricee L Duncan, and Samantha Neely. 23 GRANDCHILDREN and a host of relatives and friends.
