Dorothy went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Henry Thomas and Louise Pascal Hodson of Brooklyn, New York. Dorothy was a homemaker and loved to crochet, knit and sew. She made lap robes for the Veteran's Hospital, and volunteered behind the scenes to help out whenever she could. Dorothy was a Past Worthy Matron of the Rosebud Chapter of the Eastern Star in New Jersey and was a faithful member of Daughters of the Kind. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joseph of 71 years. She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Ken) Fowler, her daughter Janice (David) Churchill and her son Ralph (Virginia) Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Carie Lynn Hill, Randall (Amy) Hill, Frances Churchill, Matthew (Sarah) Churchill, Katherine (Nicholas) Mensen, John Churchill and her four great-grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew and Carter Hill and Grace Churchill. A memorial service will be held at the Johnson-Peterson Funeral Home, White Bear Lake on November 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends immediately before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Broadcasting Network, Virginia Beach, Virginia in Dorothy's memory.
