age 91, passed away on Sept. 14, 2014. Dorothy graduated from White Bear Lake High School, University of Minnesota ( BS), and St. Thomas University (MS). She taught 3rd grade at Wildwood Elementary School in Mahtomedi. During her retirement she taught at Washington County Jail, helping hundreds of prisoners to obtain their GED. She was preceeded in death by first husband Raymond Richter, second husband Vernard T. Haas and Granddaughter Berit Haas. She is survived by son Kurt (Marilyn) Richter of North Carolina, Step-children Maverne (Mike) Fabbrini of Trego WI, Carl (Connie) Haas, of Groton MA, Kurt Haas of White Bear Lake and Mary (Mark) Ulfers of Eagan; Grandchildren Katie, Matthew, Lisa, Keara, Angela , Aaron, Karl and Ben; and Great-grand children Morgan, Emma, Aiden, Ellerie, Adelyn and Delainey. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2014 at ST. JOHN IN THE WILDERNESS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 2175 1st st. (Clark Ave at 1st ST.) White Bear Lake MN with lunch following service. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery Mendota Heights following lunch. Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society.
