Beloved Mother and Grandmother Age 94, of West St. Paul, MN died January 5, 2023. Born March 7, 1928, in Arlington, Minnesota.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her parents Henry Sauer and Marie (Kaufmann) Sauer, and her brother Erwin J. Sauer.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Ann (Michael) Ensteness and grandson David (Becky) Ensteness. Darlene retired as a commercial teller from First National Bank St. Paul, where customers would wait in line for service from her because of her friendly, cheerful personality.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of us. A special thank you to Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge Memory Care for the care and kindness shown to Dolly during her dementia journey. Inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
