Cathryn Effie Sundall passed away March 19, 2021 at the age of 90. She
was surrounded by her loved ones at the Holy Family Residence of the
Little Sisters of the Poor, St.Paul, MN.  Funeral Mass will be
celebrated at 10:30 Friday, March 26, 2021 at Holy Family Residence
Chapel.  Rite of Committal services will be held on May 1st at the
Kennebec Cemetery, Kennebec, SD.

Cathryn was born on the family homestead near Kennebec, SD on March 30,
1930 to Charles A. and Ursula (Rapp) Sundall.  She went to a country
school near the homestead and to Kennebec High School.
Cathryn received her BA from Creighton University in 1961.  Cathryn
served in the US Air Force from July 1952 to June 1958.  She received
the Good Conduct and the National Defense medals during the Korean
War.  Cathryn worked 30 plus years in the Civil Service and 10 years at
the St. Paul Pioneer Press Newspaper.

She was a lifelong Twins fan, watching them on TV after she could no
longer attend games in person. She was a lifetime learner, taking
college courses for many years after earning her BA degree.

Cathryn was preceded in death by her parents - Charles and Ursula
Sundall;  6 brothers - Carl, Gilbert, John, Alvin, Robert and Ted;  3
sisters - Twila, Anna and Mary; two nephews and one niece.  Cathryn is
survived by 18 nieces and nephews, and many friends at the Little
Sisters of the Poor.

Memorials may be sent in Cathryn's memory to Little Sisters of the Poor
of St. Paul; 330 South Exchange Street; Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102.
