Carrie Donovan Ford, age 46, passed away on July 6, 2018. Carrie is survived by her loving

husband Michael William Ford and her daughters Lily and Mila. She leaves behind her mother

Shirley Donovan, sister Nikki Donovan and her fiancée Ty McBee.  Carrie was preceded in death by

her father Greg Donovan of White Bear Lake, Minn.

Carrie grew up in White Bear Lake and graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 1990.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1994 and

later returned to the Twin Cities where she married Michael in 2011.

Throughout Carrie's successful career in the convention and tourism industry, she created circles of

friends and surrounded herself with vibrant people who could keep pace with her energy and

enthusiasm for life.

Carrie loved to travel, attend concerts, run marathons, and throw parties. While all these pursuits

were important to her, Carrie's true North Star was her role as a mother.

She placed family above all else and her children were the light of her life.

Carrie's broad smile, sparkling eyes, and gift of engaging others will be missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Johnson-Peterson

Funeral Home, 2130 2nd St., White Bear Lake, Minn. A church visitation and a funeral mass

will be held on Friday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m., and 11 a.m. respectively at Saint Odilia Catholic

Church, 3495 Victoria St., N., Shoreview, Minn. A luncheon will follow at Saint Odilia Catholic

Church and interment is private. We encourage donations to the girls' 529 college education funds, care of Mila and Lily.
