Carol Jean Tunell (Larson) 77, of Mendota Heights, MN, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on November 6th, 2024.

Born in 1947, Carol spent her formative years in Iowa, before graduating from Edison High School in Minneapolis in 1965. After graduation, she began her 40-year career with Old Republic Title Insurance in Minneapolis. Carol enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, quilting, reading mysteries, and traveling with her family on many road trips across the country. In her retirement years, Carol enjoyed supporting her great-nephew Zach at his soccer and hockey games, visiting with friends and family, and volunteering at The Ordway for various events and galas, including annual the Flint Hills Family Festival.

Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bruce Tunell, parents Rose Larson, Walter T Larson, and Geraldine Larson.  Survived by daughter Kasey, son Robert, sisters Sharon (Richard) Kriesel, Lynn (Don) Pursch, Connie (Butch) Lueck, and Bonnie (George) Harwell, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Concord Lanes in South St Paul from 2-6pm.  Donations to the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Carol's honor, in lieu of flowers, are preferred.
