95 of West St. Paul

She entered heaven on September 7, 2016.   Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM, Crown of Life Lutheran Church 115 Crusader Ave. West St. Paul.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Riverview  Cemetery.

Bernice was born on December 24, 1920 to Wanda (Hohn) and Ernst Kulenkamp.  She was baptized and confirmed at Emanuel Lutheran Church in St. Paul.  She graduated from Humboldt High School and worked as a beautician until marrying John L. Murray Jr. in 1941.  Their union was blessed with three children: Patricia (Dwight) Grabitske of Arlington, MN, Michele (Larry) Wiederich of North Mankato, MN, and John L. (Jane) Murray III of Roseville.

Bernice was a talented seamstress.  She enjoyed music, gardening, and planning parties.  She was an active member of the Ladies Aid and NARFE.  She enjoyed traveling and was privileged to visit many areas of the USA and Europe.

Bernice is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 2007, five brothers and their wives: Ernst (Florence)Kulenkamp, Herbert Kulenkamp, Edwin (Maxine) Kulenkamp, Wendal (Lillian) Kulenkamp, Arnold (Caryl) Kulenkamp, brother-in-law Harold Murray of Salem OR, and sister-in-law Virginia (William) Hayman.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Crown of Life Lutheran Church or donors choice.
