Age 85. Barb passed away peacefully with family by her side. Preceded in death by husband Robert Thompson, sister Loy Danner (nee; Winkel), niece Jenny Winkel ,brother-in-law Jim Thompson, brother-in-law Jerry Danner. Survived by son Thomas (wife Michelle Thompson nee; Ott), granddaughter Gabby Thompson, grandson Lucas Thompson, brother Nic Winkel, sister-in-law Joan, and sister-in-law Judi Thompson.  Barb was a long-time employee of BCBS and loved being actively involved with her family and grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.

Visitation from 4-7 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Johnson Peterson Funeral Home; 612 S Smith Ave; St. Paul, MN 55107. On Friday, August 25, 2023 Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 at Church of St. Matthews; 510 Hall Ave; St. Paul, MN 55107. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
