  • Ken B. Peterson

    Owner/Funeral Director
    I started my career at Johnson Peterson in 4th grade assisting at visitations and funerals. I realized at that time I wanted to be able to help and serve people at a time of need. I am a graduate of Winona State University with a BS in Art Education and the University of Minnesota with a BS in Mortuary Science. Throughout my career in funeral service, I have been active in community service and professional associations. I have served as president of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, Executive Board Member of the National Funeral Directors Association and past president of the Minnesota Foundation for Children, which sponsors Camp Amanda, a grief camp for children, of which I am the camp photographer.

  • Sue Hurd Peterson

    Office Manager
    I graduated from Luther College in 1973 in Elementary Education. I taught for 25 years in Iowa. Upon leaving the teaching profession, I moved to Minnesota and began working in the funeral home as the office manager. As needed, I assist with visitation, funerals and present the S.T.A.R. class that we offer to the families we serve.

    I am a 1997 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mortuary Science. My memberships include:

    - American Legion

  • Erica C. Larson

    Funeral Director
    I am a 1995 graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. I served my apprencticeship at the Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. My family and I are members of Living Waters Lutheran Church in Lino Lakes.

    Hairdresser
    I have been involved in funeral service since I was a young girl as my father was a funeral director. I have been working as Johnson-Peterson Funeral Home's hairdresser since 1976.

  • Wayne Thompson

    Assistant
    I have been associated with funeral service since childhood, when my family owned a funeral home in Little Falls, Minnesota. I drive hearse, help with visitations, and funerals. (not pictured)
